We’re excited to announce a 5-year Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) between BWC Visual Technology and NOAA! This collaboration allows BWC to sell, install, train, and support NOAA’s Science On a Sphere (SOS) and NOAA’s SOS Explorer (SOSx).
The CRADA not only gives BWC the flexibility to install and support these amazing technologies, but also promotes joint research and development. We’ll work closely with NOAA to gather user feedback and help develop new features. Any software, or software changes, resulting from this collaboration will be released under an open-source license, benefiting the entire community!
This partnership marks an exciting milestone, combining BWC’s 200+ installations, over 20 years of experience, NOAA’s innovative technology, and the talented Science On a Sphere team at NOAA. We can’t wait to see the incredible outcomes!
